Program

Meet at the Vieux-Port metro sta­tion for an intro­duc­tion to France’s old­est city. Our urban stroll will take us to the foot of Mar­seille’s most ancient town house, before dis­cov­er­ing the post-war ori­en­tal-style arcades of the Port. Not far from there are the majes­tic munic­i­pal build­ings in pink cut stone. The walk con­tin­ues through the pedes­tri­an­ized Panier dis­trict.

Dis­cov­er local spe­cial­ties such as olive oil, navette bis­cuits and Esper­an­tine choco­late made from almonds and extra vir­gin olive oil.

We’ll reveal to you the fas­ci­nat­ing leg­end behind each spe­cial­ty.

After a stop at the mon­u­ment of La Vieille Char­ité, we’ll end our city walk at the foot of the Roman catholic cathe­dral of Sainte-Marie-Majeure.
